Tom's "Hear My Prayer" CD

"Dedicated to the source of my inspiration and strength, God the Almighty and the wonderful family that He blessed me with…"

With his close involvement with music for liturgical services, Tom's songwriting talents naturally extended into writing songs with an inspirational, gospel and/or Christian flavor. In late 1998, in collaboration with Holy Family Church in Kingston, Tom recorded a full length CD of his original Christian music at Summit Sound Inc. in Westport. Special thanks to Fr. Chuck Gazeley and my extended family at Holy Family Parish for their enthusiastic encouragement and support!

Assisting Tom in this recording were Dave Daw (www.summitsound.com) as recording engineer and co-producer with Dave Barton on lead guitar and bass, Frank Rose on keyboards and synth, Andrew Affleck on Bass (Tracks 2,4,7,8, & 11), Jerry Clancy on drums and Charly Chiarelli on harmonica. Kathy Daw, Kathy Rice, Karyl Tymciw and Paul Kelly assisted with some background vocals.

In addition to original songs and hymns, the CD also presents popular Christian psalms and prayers, available as oftentimes complex organ and/or organ/choir arrangements, in a fingerstyle guitar-friendly and melody-friendly style. The proceeds from the sales of the CD "Hear My Prayer" benefited Holy Family Church in Kingston.

CD sales have taken place through the local church publications and advertisements as well as by word of mouth and the CD has found a home as far away at central USA and the United Kingdom. CDs and cassettes of "Hear My Prayer" are still available and you can preview each track before purchasing.
